Outta Site, Outta Mind...

"

Fathers day just passed and it was a day to remember..Acually the whole weekend was classik but i found myself thinking about how I have grown as a man since my first child in 2001. I now find myself not only living everyday for the foundation that i have built but I am also looking at other men in society who acually run from this blessing. Not saying that there is anything wrong with not being with the mother of your child but please be there for the child. Not just on holidays and Birthdays, i mean like daily. Even giving them a call on a daily basis is a good stepping stone for a strong relationship with your kids. Check in with them, see how school was today, check to be sure their homework is done, or pick them up and take them to the library, not just to the park or to go shopping for toys and what not. Thru my kids, i can see that the little things are the most important things that make them smile. The help with the homework, help with reading, help shooting a jump shot or just getting better at whatever it is that they are interested in..If they are interested in something, you as a parent should be interested in that same thing. Share stories from your youth days and see how much they light up and say "wow daddy, you did that?"...Its delightful to see their faces light up with that joy that acually comes from you. They are little you.little people so steer them the right direction so that when you let go of the bicycle seat, they can balance themselves and be confident that they wont fall. And if they do fall, they know how to get back up and get right back on the bike to keep it going.. Treasure it. Nothing last forever...Thats the message I got from the big man this past fathers day..im on my Job, Are you???

And They Pull You Back In...

So...The demons got to him again. Good Morning america. Its not that easy to release the evils that may come around from time to time that you have been tryin to hide away for so long , that the pain that you once felt was gone, is there forever. Sorry for the run on sentence but its the emotion thats running thru me right now about the portrayed luxury of being a celebrity. One mistake and its over for you. The faster you rise ,the quicker you fall. They tear you down just when you feel good and you feel like you in the right place and ready to make a splash once again. And BOOM! They bring you right back to that very place of pain. That same very place you left a long time ago and vowed never ever to go back again. Chris Brown is a young man. A young successful Black man at that and he was subject to a POOR INTERVIEW of a man who acually came on the show to promote his new album and HEY what a way to take away a few possible sales..Sales that were guaranteed prior to reminding people of his past mistakes and just a different way of tearing down another Black man. And its not cool to KEEP going at it as he was trying to clear that terrible judgetment of a topic to bring up on such a show..This aint Jerry Springer, Maury,Montell...This is GOOD MORNING AMERICA...and he was supposed to perform? CMON Son.(head kicked to the side). I feel sorry for the young man for real. And this is my world and i can give 99 fuks if anyone cares or not but I HATE THE MEDIA.. Dont do no stories on me if I ever get to a point in life where im in front of cameras. I'll continue to youtube my own journey. I dont need no more help from the devils minions. Its bad enough i already live in hell..Just keep that killer away from me.. I will and always will remain sukafree. Stay up Chris and every other person out there trying to better themselves...No one should believe in anything more than youself. And never let em see you sweat. You dont want easy, you want to make it possible.

No Direction...One Way Street

The scene is set. The bar is closing in 20 minutes. The DJ yells over the mic from the DJ booth, "Last call, last call for alcohol". The bar stools are filled as everybody is getting that last lil taste of they drink of choice. Me, im at the bar throwing back shots of Henny and chasing it down with red stripe beer. Feeling nice, i see this fine ass chick from across the bar lookin at me. Me? thinkin to self..you looking at me love?. Feeling froggy, i leaped off my bar stool to test the water..See how deep it is you know, is it cold, warm, open to swim ect. Excuse me miss,um my name is ASAP, and yours? In the sweetest voice i ever heard, her lips spoke for her. My name is HipHop!!! wow..what a name, um u come here alot? One of the worst lines ever to spark a convo I immediately changed that up...correction..U seeing anyone that would stop you from exploring new land?..She says yes, yes matter of fact i am..Im a nympho. My eyes wideopen like Craig and Smokey in Friday "When u gon let me fuk Ms.Parker". She follows up with, "im good" and u can call me anytime you want". Cool...so i go hard at trying to please her, trying to impress her friends. Im singing and dancing ,blind to the fact that HipHop has always been there...Before i even met her, she was right there. Everywhere i went. Here I am feeling like i have done something truly special. Getting invited to her home, met the kids even. But that didnt fulfill my need for her. She gave everybody the same love. So after weeks, months, years even, i still havent fuked...A OG once told me that persistence and dedication alone can get me anywhere. But in the meantime, thats alot of time and money being poured into this being. They smile ,i smile, they dance, i dance, they shine and i fade into the background. I hear the DJ again, "Last Call" and be sure to tip ya bartenders. i paid for my drinks and bounced. ~lightbulb~.......One Way Street, no where to go but straight. You ever witness a drug dealer, turned church on ya?..Thats where i am..not in that same sense, but im thinkin its time to call it a wrap and move on to do the things that i been wanting to focus all my attention on, THE YOUTH... So here i am, leaving that bar where i met hiphop in the flesh and looking for someone more for ME. Hiphop,I love you and always will but i need to explore new land... One final project though before its all said and done. "LAST CALL" The Bars closed....
